Good eats, are something which entice us, to eat like we have never eaten before. It’s like standing in front of a pastry shop drooling on the window ledge. Food, and more food.
One winter’s night, it was so cold, that all the smoke from the chimneys, went straight up into space. The kind of evening when man, nor beast would be outside.
The Roberts family had very busy day, building a shelter to protect them from the weather, and animals. Adam, Burt, and Donnie were fast asleep, laying on the mats they wove from vines that cover and destroy trees.
The Roberts family had gone from a pleasant walk on the trails, to a survival night in the wild. Molly, was surprised with the news of the sleep over in the wild, being the mom that she was, she agreed to stick it out for one night.
The leaves on the trees are turning colors of gold, reds, oranges, bright yellows, mixed with brown. Fall has arrived.
Frank had wanted to sell the home they had bought, but Heather was against moving at all. To keep the home, that did not have a mortgage made all the sense in the world. Heather had to tell Frank something. “I wonder what she will say to Frank.”
Heather and Frank had experienced the time of their lives while honey mooning on the island of Bora Bora. It was time to head home to the hustle and bustle of the city.
Back to college came way too fast but, Bridgett wanted to get back so she could see her new sister Barbara. As Barbara came through the door of their room, Bridgett rushed to hug her sister. Barbara’s face was so sad and when Bridgett hugged her Barbara began to cry.
As we left our newly married couple had walked from the church to the limousine. Now it was time for the celebration to begin.
I’m certain that most of us have spent time watching our children grow up and be proud of who they are.
