Paulette fell fast asleep, after speaking with her father. The letter, and the cashiers cheque from her family had made her evening quite an emotional one.
The beach looked so inviting to Paulette, as she stood outside the entrance way of the hotel. The sun shone brightly on the rushing waves, this was all like a dream to Paulette.
Paulette had said good-bye to her family and friends. Paulette Lambert, was on her way to a new place, a new way of life, and new faces.
Today, was like all other days since Paulette had bought a diner on the corner of Foster Avenue, and Williams street. All her life she wanted a place to call her own.
This will be the final post for “On the Ocean.” During our cruise we stopped, at an island called Labadee, Haiti. The “Royal Caribbean” cruise lines have two home islands, where passengers can have fun in the sand and sun, and enjoy a barbeque. The island is the last place on our stop, before heading back to Florida.

There are choices we make in our lives. Some choices lead us down a good path that results in a good comfortable, enjoyable life. There are other choices that can turn your world upside down, and leave you near death.
In the warmer times of our seasons, is the time when we shed all those layered clothes. We choose clothing such as shorts, tank tops, sandals or light fabrics to keep us cool.
Heat has ravished the earth causing a strain on the power supply. Transformers have blown because of the heat and demand for power.
For John and Debbie, their last day was filled with lots of fun in the attic, stories from Gram, Gramps train collection, thunder with lightning striking too close for comfort, and the day ending with bedtime coming too soon.
