Having a relaxing time at Nancy’s condo was a great plan, and after all the stress everyone had gone through the past couple days. Burt and Rene, were staying with Nancy and Jack, which made the hospital easier to get to.
Jack had spent the night at Nancy’s place, sleeping on a large chair that had consumed his body when he sat down. Sleep did not take long, as it had been two days since he slept.
Jack had gone on a search for Nick in his house. With all upper rooms in the house vacant, Nick was not there. Jack headed down to the basement, Man Cave to see if Nick was down stairs.
Frank had wanted to sell the home they had bought, but Heather was against moving at all. To keep the home, that did not have a mortgage made all the sense in the world. Heather had to tell Frank something. “I wonder what she will say to Frank.”
The phone rang and dad got up to answer it. Dad’s face became bright red in color, the grip on the phone receiver was tight, so tight that his knuckles turned white. “What was happening on the other end of the phone line?”
The hospital was about to have an incoming amount of injured. The alarm bells have rung and now it’s back to work helping the injured in this impoverished country.
The hospital in Rocho was not as we would have expected. The conditions were down right dirty to say the least. Antiquated is also a good word to describe the hospital.
Our couple had just graduated college as doctors and were ready to pursue their journey helping those who could not afford medical care.
