Hello everyone: How was your Thursday? Mine was pretty good. It warm and sunny, and I even got out to sit in the sun for a bit. The birds were singing up a storm today, and that made sitting outside all that much more enjoyable. My friendly squirrels were up to their usual antics, and the chipmunks were running here and there in the yard. The Rabbit was sitting outside in the yard eating the mix I had left for her. I noticed the grass has grown quite a bit in the past couple days. It will be needed to be cut again and soon at this rate. We took a trip to our local plant place and got some fixings to make hanging baskets for the front and back of the house. I guess I will be working on them tomorrow. They will be beautiful when they are done. I’m wishing everyone a wonderful Friday and a great weekend when you all get to it…. Take care of your families and yourself, and be safe on the roads… Till Monday… Keep your eyes on the road…… 🙂 🙂

Hello everyone out there on this planet: I trust your Wednesday was a good one. Mine was pretty laid back with not much going on. The day was pretty gloomy and quite cool. I don’t believe I seen the sun not even once. I’m hoping Thursday brings us a much better day. I’d like to get outside and sit in the sun. I’m as white as a ghost and would scare anyone who seen my white legs. Thursday is vet day for my puppy. I have no idea how she will act with the vet. She is my little growler, and my protector. She will protect me from anyone who comes near me. She doesn’t bite, just growls a lot. My garden seems to be in better shape, now that I put netting all over it to protect it from my critters that visit the yard. These monsters will dig up my flowers, and destroy them for no reason. GRRRR! They make me upset…. Well, as much as I would like stay and talk longer… I do have things to do around the house… Take care of yourselves.. Be safe, and smile lots the weekend is coming soon… Till later… Walk tall and carry a big stick… 🙂 🙂

cell.jpg         Perpetrator in a jail cell……

Hello everyone: Here it is Wednesday. I hope you Tuesday was better than the one I experienced. It rained. It was cold. And there is nothing about a day like that to love. I’m praying that today will be sunny and warm. At least with the rain the plants grow taller, and the grass, and the weeds are green. This time of the year is famous for the great weed… Dandelions. Have you ever noticed when a person is cutting the lawn, how dandelions seem to duck down blow the blades of the mower. Then in no time at all, your yard is filled with the rotten things. We really only have two ways to get rid of these pests. That seems to be weed killer, or sitting on your butt in the grass, and picking them out one by one. No matter how you look at it, it’s a daunting task…. Well… I’ve got to run… Take care of those you love and be safe out there on the streets….Till later.. Keep it real… 🙂 🙂

Hello all you beautiful people: I trust your Monday was delightful and ended well. I hope Tuesday brings you a better day. It was quite beautiful here in my little corner of Canada. The sun shone all day, and I got to spend sometime outside. The breeze was cooling the heat that the sun was bathing me in. I have a lot of plants peeking their heads out of the soil now. I can’t wait till the colors start to show, and the smells are so amazing. I have a brat squirrel that comes to my yard a lot. He loves to torment my dog. The squirrel had it’s paws on the top of the fence, and he was peeking over the fence to see if the dog could see him. He sure is one cheeky little devil, and I love to watch his antics. Today is calling for rain and more rain for the next three days. There goes getting my big umbrella on the deck and my chair under it. I guess I will have to wait till the weekend…. I must get my butt in gear… laundry day.. :0  Take care of your families and yourself…Till later… Catch you on the flip side…. 🙂  🙂

This is the start of my story for May 27th.

Hello everyone: And how is everyone today. My weekend was fair enough, as I got to plant my flowers in the garden on Friday. Thank goodness I did them then as Saturday was cool, and rainy as ever. It was a day made for ducks, and not humans. I trust you all had a good weekend as well. I hope you had a great time with you families and friends. Today I spent time with our new grandson Parker. He is the sweetest little fella. He seemed to be listening to everything I said to him. His expressions and his jibber jabber was priceless to behold. I would like to say thank youto my son and his lady for a great dinner, and the company. Thanks… I love ya…. Well, I must be moving now… Take care of those you love, and be careful out there….. 🙂  Till later…. Keep it real…..  🙂

Peanut’s Story (10)

grow.jpg       Peanut as she grew….

Hello everyone: It’s great to see you all again. Yesterday was fair enough with only sprinkles of rain falling here and there. The wind picked up near the end of the day, which made it feel cooler. Friday has found us again as we draw closer to the weekend. The weather promises to be pretty good with temperatures in the high teens and twenties. Rain will fall likely Saturday, but you never know. The weather can change sometimes at a minutes notice. I wish you all a great Friday, and a fantastic weekend when ya get to it…. Take of yourself and the ones you love.. Be safe… Till, I return Monday with a new story… See you then… 🙂

        Peanut….

Hello everyone: I trust your Wednesday was as great as mine was. It was cold here again, and I could not believe that it was supposed to be fourteen degrees outside. The wind had a chill that seemed to be coming from the north, and would chills ya to the bone. I see that Alberta is battling forest fires already this spring. The states seem to be thrown around like an old shoe in the tornado’s they are having. And the flooding is wreaking havoc on way too many people in this world. It would seem that mother nature has lost her mind. When will we, so called smart humans ever learn that pollution is killing our planet. Global warming will leave us with devastation, that has been brought on by ourselves.. 😦  I must get moving instead of sitting here like a bump on a log.. Take care of the ones you love… be safe on the roads… Till later… Keep a stiff upper lip… 🙂 🙂

Peanut’s Story (8)

daughyter mom.jpg      MOM and Daughter…..

Howdy to everyone in this wide world: I hope you all had a great Tuesday, and enjoyed the sun shine that kept me warm. My day yesterday was quite nice, and I spent sometime out in the sun shine. The birds seem to have returned to garden after the bad weather we had on Monday. I find pleasure in listening to the songs they sing as they sit on the tree branches. From inside the house I could hear their songs. There is nothing like the sweet sounds of spring to sooth the soul. I think sometime this week I will plant the seeds I have from some of last years plants. I also have a couple trays of plants to put in the gardens as well. Once all the plants start to show off their beautiful colors, I will post some pictures for you all to enjoy… I must get moving… Be kind to others, and protect those you love…. 🙂  Till later, keep it real… 🙂 🙂

Peanut’s Story (7)

Hello to all my readers and friends: The trek home from the places people hung out on this long weekend began yesterday. The roads were backed up with stressed out drivers, who prayed the traffic would start moving and stay that way. ‘Moving’ The amount of road construction has for another season caused havoc on our roads. I myself had been caught in traffic quite a few time this year. Then there are those who come sailing up beside your car then edge their way in front of you without even a signal light on. And don’t get me started on the people known as ‘rubberneckers’.  These people slow down to find out what happened, how much damage was done, who was injured, or killed, and just to see if they can see blood on the road. They are a big problem. That’s all I have to say about that. I wish everyone of you people, a great Tuesday, and relaxation from all the driving stress….. Love the people you cherish, and take good care of ‘you’. For without you, your family has nothing……. Till later… 🙂 See you on the other side of the fence….  🙂  🙂

Peanut’s Story (6)

lady.jpg       Emptiness….

Hello everyone: Well, Victoria Day has finally come, and I hope everyone has enjoyed their first long weekend. The weather has been fair enough, with a few showers that have made the grass grow tall and green. The dandelions have made many lawns yellow as they bloom in all their glory. As you pass homes on the streets they are covered with the color yellow. It’s too bad that grass could not be as infectious as the dandelion. Can you imagine all the green we would have in our lives….. I seen people in the water at the beach, and all I could think of was how crazy were those people to do that.. I would not be there with them as I find I am very allergic to extremely cold water in a lake…. Call me a wuss… If that is appropriate… Well, I must be running… Take care of those you love, and be safe on the way home today……  🙂  See you Tuesday… 🙂 🙂
